Everything within our universe broken down into its purest form is a vibrating mass of atoms and subatomic particles. These subatomic particles are small particles of vibrating, oscillating energy. This energy doesn’t just stay in one place; it vibrates and sends shock waves of particles, pieces of itself, out into the universe.
Everything in its purest form is a block of vibrating energy that resonates and vibrates outward. Your thoughts, feelings, and emotions are part of this everything and so they too vibrate outward and are sent as particles of thought out into the universe.
No thought is ever lost. You are surrounded by your thought forms and the thought forms of your friends and family. Oprah said it best in her final episode, “You are responsible for the energy that you create for yourself, and you’re responsible for the energy that you bring to others. Please take responsibility for the energy you bring into this space.’”
I am learning to be responsible for my thoughts and feelings. I know that the events, situations, and circumstances that I attract and eventually see manifest into my life are a result of my thoughts feelings and emotions – my magnetic pull, so to speak.
So I work hard at living a life in a state of appreciation. When you feel appreciation for something in your life you acknowledge the value it adds and you experience the joy of it. As you express this appreciation through your thoughts and feelings, you magnetize back to you thoughts of like kind. Joy begets more joy. Appreciation and love beget more appreciation and love. Appreciation, love and joy are exceptionally high vibrational frequencies. (Remember the water crystals we talked about a couple of months ago?) I want THAT frequency in my system all the time, don’t you?
But here’s the sticky part. It’s about being OK with all things exactly as they are first. So you must ask yourself the question, “Am I happy with things just the way they are, right now, without exception?” That’s a difficult question, and one that requires a lot of thought before answering. Most of us would answer yes but, and of course, that means that we are not OK with all things just as they are.
As an example, let’s say you’ve asked the question and your answer is, “Yes, I’m happy with the home I live in, my husband and kids are great, but my co-worker is driving me crazy!” You are in a state of appreciation of most things, but you not accepting of the way your job is going right now. That’s called “resistance”. Your co-worker, that person who is driving you crazy, is here to teach you something about yourself and the sooner you appreciate and accept the lesson, the sooner you get to move on!
Amusement is a great tool to help move from resistance to appreciation. This is not the laughing “ha ha” type of amusement. This is about stepping back and looking at yourself with detachment, neutrality, and being amused by what you see. It’s the detachment from the emotional drama that allows us to see ourselves clearly, to feel honestly, and not be tripped up by the stories that we’ve told ourselves over the years.
Your Observer voice allows you to ask, to wonder why, and to move to a state of acceptance of things just the way they are; with amusement. In the example above, your co-worker hasn’t changed at all, but you have shifted your perspective. Your attitude is different, and that’s the point! You are no longer focused on what you don’t want, in this case the crazy antics of your co-worker. You’ve moved from a grumbling state of mind, which has a lower vibration, to the higher vibrational frequency of allowance and appreciation. You’ve removed yourself from the drama, and through amusement, you can stand back and look at the circumstances in a whole new light.
Remember that your thoughts, feelings, and emotions act as a magnet drawing back to you thoughts, feelings and emotions of a like kind. If you are in a state of gratitude – expressing acceptance for the things that ARE and harmony with your current situation – you attract more acceptance and harmony into your life. The result is happiness. You are in harmony, peace, acceptance with WHAT IS and you draw MORE harmony, peace and acceptance into your life.
Try it the next time you start to grumble about something. Add some amusement to the situation and see if your perspective shifts.
