Shine Bright: Prosperity and Chakras

28 April, 2014 — Posted in: All About Chakras Leave a Comment

418832595_e6f24812d1_zFor the last two months we have been discovering how to balance our chakras to allow prosperity energy to course through our system.  We create our life on the energetic level first.  We think a thought, we have a feeling, and then we develop a belief.  Only after all this energetic work has happened do we actually bring that belief into reality.  If a chakra (the way station between our feeling states and our body) is blocked, then our ability to manifest is also blocked.  We may find that we manifest only part of what we desire. In this series of blog posts we’ve found ways to balance our chakras by removing the energy of others from our system.

Prosperity is from the Latin word prosperitas, and means ‘doing well’.  It is the state of thriving and having success.  It often denotes being secure, safe, and wealthy, both in money and opportunities.  I believe it also means being comfortable in our own skin, being in the zone and enjoying a smooth ride on the ferris wheel of life.

Bringing our chakras (all 7 of them) into a harmonic – a balance – allows us to experience a heightened sense of havingness.  We are safe, secure, our emotions are balanced and flowing and we’ve attained a modicum of control over our need to be perfect.  We are able to communicate fully and precisely, stating our needs from a place of knowing ourselves and feeling comfortable stating our needs.  We are aligned with our Highest and Best Self and know that we are part of the Divine.

When we come from this space of harmony, when our energetic system is flowing without blockages, we are in sync with this state of prosperity, peace and contentedness.

We can allow ourselves to have a life of good fortune and ease. We’ve learned to move out the energies of lack and fear by using our tools – our grounding cord, tapping, blowing up roses. We are in gratitude for all that we have and know that at the same time we can have more.

When we realize that nothing is lacking, that we are fine just exactly the way we are, we experience appreciation, gratitude, prosperity, and abundance. When we deeply feel these emotions—when we wake up with them and go to sleep with them—then our outer world matches our inner world. What we feel, we will be. Our thoughts and feelings of prosperity and abundance magnetize all the material things that represent that prosperity and abundance to us.

I want to end our Chakra Clearing for Prosperity series with this quote from Marianne Williamson.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine, as children do.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~

Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love

We are all meant to shine and to share our natural state of grace with others.   Shine Bright!  Shine for all to see.  Be content with who you are and share your light, your essence with the planet.   As you stand in your own truth, being exactly who you were meant to be, others will follow.

Be well.  Be you.  Be prosperous and in joy.

How You Treat Money Is The Way Money Will Treat You

25 January, 2014 — Posted in: The Energy of Money 2 Comments

The principle I live by is this: How you treat money is the way money will treat you. Place your wallet in front of you. If you’ve had this particular wallet for some time, it may be dirty or torn. The bills may be crumpled up and sticking out in various directions, along with pieces of paper, sticky notes, bills, and grocery lists. Remembering that money is energy, consider whether your wallet, your money’s energetic “home,” is inviting. If you were money, would you want to live here?

I treat the money in my wallet like a dear and trusted friend. My money is not crunched up into tiny balls, it is lovingly handled. I straighten out the corners, smooth the bills, turn them so they all face the same way: forward and face up. As I’m doing this, I acknowledge money’s importance in my life. I appreciate money, and money appreciates me.

Next, become mindful and respectful of caring for the other places your money calls home. Reconciling your bank statements, keeping tabs on your retirement funds, cleaning out the spare change from your car—all are ways to honor your money. Apply the same organized, caring approach to your credit cards and the larger monetary world that goes beyond the cash in a wallet.

How you treat your money is an indication of how much worth you assign to it. Make a comfortable place for your money to call home—one that’s so nice that your money will want to stick around.

Can You Be Rich Without Money?

17 January, 2014 — Posted in: The Energy of Money Leave a Comment

There are people who have money and people who are rich – Coco Chanel

Are you rich without money?  How?

8499146248_b4ba3cece9List those ways in your gratitude journal or write them out and hang them on your refrigerator.  Keep close to you thoughts of how you are already rich.

Yes, money is an important tool that brings with it opportunities and ease.  But it’s not the determinant of richness.

Abundance is a vibration, it’s not the dollar amount of your paycheck or your bank balance.

Remember that what we think and feel we will be.

If we think in terms of lack that’s what we draw to us lack of money!  So turn it around:  Be in gratitude for what you do have.  Live in the energy of abundance.

You have a roof over your head, you have food on the table and you probably have a car to drive.  As you stand in the energy of abundance and gratitude you magnetize to you more of the same energies.

When you are grateful for the clothes you wear and your ability to go out for dinner with friends, you change the vibration of your money space.  You are rich with gratitude and full of appreciation for all that you do have.  This is true wealth.

Money and the Law of Attraction

14 January, 2014 — Posted in: The Energy of Money Leave a Comment

“To better understand the Law of Attraction, see yourself as a magnet attracting unto you the essence of that which you are thinking and feeling.  And so, if you are feeling fat, you cannot attract thin.  If you feel poor, you cannot attract prosperity, and so on. It defies Law.”   Abraham

dreamstime_xs_20030639I started re-reading The Law of Attraction, The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham by Esther and Jerry Hicks.  It’s interesting what you glean when you re-read things.  Maybe I’m just ready to receive more of the teachings, as things are so much clearer to me this time around.  I’ve been focusing on outward expression for so long, bringing my will and effort to things, in the hopes that this type of attention will change my circumstances.  But of course, that’s not the case.  As Abraham says, it’s what you are thinking and feeling that counts the most, not the effort you bring to it, or the attention you give it.

So how are you feeling about money?  What thoughts are running through your mind?  Are you full of lack and fear, or joy and acceptance?

If you’ve kept a log of your money dialogue (see previous post), then you’ll understand the current energy of your money space.  No judgment allowed.  This is about understanding where you are and then choosing differently.

But how do you choose differently?

Here’s how:  first, become conscious of the thought or feeling that you want to change.  Second, recognize that the underlying story or emotion behind the thought is the real culprit.  Remember the story.  Remember the words spoken in judgment, or the expectation handed down from your parent.  Bring that story up from the basement of your subconscious and into the light of your awareness.  Writing out the story may help to bring all the pieces into focus.

Most people stop here.  They’ve worked only part of the equation.  Remember that thoughts and feelings are like energetic sticky notes!  Your inner critic voice, and particularly your inner dialogue around money, is probably just a mash-up of all the judgments, expectations and “shoulds” of your parents, neighbors, and friends that you’ve taken into your body and aura and accepted as your own truth.  Shine your light of awareness on your money story.  See if what you “believe” about money is really a true statement or if you’ve just taken on someone else’s baggage and accepted it as your own.

As an example, let’s say that you believe that you’ll never have enough money. Deep down in your core, you believe that you will never be “well off”.

Where did that belief come from?  Is it something you really believe or something left over from a dinner table conversation during your childhood?  Were you raised in a household where there wasn’t enough to go around?  Did your parents use phrases like “we’re just getting by” or “we can’t afford that”.  Maybe you remember the times your parents scraped together the change to take a trip to see a family member in need, all the while, worrying about taking time off from work and losing that week’s pay.  Maybe you just felt this energy of lack and worry and doubt permeate your life.

Write out the story and then use your tools.  Tap on the story, ground it out, blow it up in a rose.

That’s how we are different!  We can actually move the energy and the emotion out of our systems.  We can recognize that the story is not ours – it’s our parents’ story that we’ve taken on as our own.

Your life is different.  You are different.  As you remove the energy of lack from your body and aura, you expand the opportunities for your own money energy to flow.  Yes, your budget is the same and your paycheck remains the same, but your attitude is different.  You’ve opened up the energy pathways and allowed a new level of flow and ease.  Now watch as your outer world begins to shift into alignment with your inner world.

Your thoughts are giant magnets drawing to you events and circumstances of the same energetic family.  Think expansiveness, think ease, think joy.  As Abraham says, if you feel poor that’s the energy you will attract.  So think and feel prosperity and abundance.  Be in a space of flow when you think “money”.

Money Money Money

10 January, 2014 — Posted in: The Energy of Money Leave a Comment

6988272680_97102f42c6_m

Do you crave it?  Do you hate it?  Do you believe that money is the root of all evil or that having money is a prerequisite to a life of freedom and ease?

This month we will dissect our thoughts and emotions around money and come to a place of acceptance and understanding of what money energy is and what it isn’t.

First let’s define money: Money is a means of exchange. That’s all.

We give money to those that give us something of value and we receive money when we give something of value to someone else.  The money itself is a neutral means of exchange.  The emotions and the thoughts and feelings that we attach to it though are what causes us angst.

The journey we are undertaking this month is coming to terms with money as a neutral tool.  It fuels our dreams and harnesses our passions, but it is not the determinant.

What does money mean to you?  What’s your internal dialogue about money?  Do you often find yourself saying, “I can’t afford that” or “That’s way out of my league.”  Remember that your thoughts and feelings are giant magnets drawing back to you energies of the same vibrational pattern.  Do you want to draw to you tightness, restriction and lack, or ease, flow and joy?  You get to choose.

For the following week, keep track of your thoughts and words as you go about spending and earning money. Write out the thoughts that run through your mind as you engage with money.  Are you in serious lack, fear and doubt?  Think about the stories you’ve attached to money.  Is it hard to get?  Hard to keep?  Does it slip through your fingers? Are you spending to ease the pain of loneliness or frustration?

These are not easy questions and they are not easy emotions to expose.  But in order to change the vibration we have to first become aware of the energy we are sitting in.  So breathe in some self-acceptance and lightness as you think about the energy of money.  We will move out the old and bring in some new as we continue throughout the month, but for right this moment, just become aware of your money story.
